When Scarlett Hansen was born, it was under careful calculation and planning. There were no accidents with the Hansens, and she was budgeted for. Her parents, Roderick and Susan, were both carefully constructed business-minded folks (a lawyer and a literature professor) who detailed every minute of their life so there was no room for surprises, as the case had also been for their two previous children, Thomas and Elizabeth. The Hansens lived by strict guidelines to everyday life, keeping up with the neighbors and on scheduled timetables, so that when their youngest decided her career path was to be an artist, by the early age of 8, the gasps and horrors and mistakes she was making by her behavior and decisions were well-ingrained by the time she reached high school.

Furthering her quiet rebellion, Scarlett fell in love with a girl. A girl, and one that was a family friend. The shame it brought to their family was never actually spoken, but rather skirted around like any other issue that was brought forth. It wouldn't be spoken, or acknowledged, and nothing could further disappoint them than the canvases she that littered the expanse of her room as she grew. Despite any talent, even dalliances into homosexuality wouldn't lighten the shadow of her being an artist.

With an acceptance into PRATT to study art history, Scarlett's window out of Hartford and into the real world where her parents couldn't rule every thing she did. Despite her gut feeling, overshadowed by the emotion she would later vow to not feel, Scarlett urged her girlfriend to move with her and into a shitty apartment free of both of their parents' reach. The go they made of it was brief, as most high school love stories go, and they broke up not long after the move due to Scarlett's own burgeoning lust to break free of her Connecticut shell, including abandoning all ties to a girl she claimed to love.

ENTJ - THE COMMANDER (myers-briggs)

• identifying marks include tattoos of a daisy on the inside of her forearm, and a tiny heart an ex convinced her to let him tattoo on her back, her left nipple pierced and a scar running from wrist to elbow from when she caught her arm on a fence pool-hopping

• has never had a pet

• graduated from PRATT in 2008 with BA in art history and Tisch NYU with an MA in arts politics in 2010

• has a hefty trust fund she established herself with, but makes enough money to fully support herself

• her entire family still resides in hartford, she hasn't been back in five years.

• speaks fluent french, passable spanish and impeccable bitch

• her original career path was to be an artist, but watercolors didn't prove to pay the bills

Growing up, Scarlett was shy, introverted, and even could be considered a space cadet. She was heavily involved in the art scene around Hartford, showing work and painting and creating at most avenues. Upon moving to New York, her personality shifted and thrived in the idea of the artists behind the art. With this change in focus, her personality also shifted into a whole new breed. Gone was the shy, quiet girl who prefered one-on-one interaction, and out blossomed the talkative, sharp-edged woman she became.

Has a serious resting bitch face, usually followed by a genuine attitude if she's bothered. Only those close to her can

Gemini Characteristics: Socially outgoing, witty in speech and prone to banter, creative and quick to task, emotionally unreachable and difficult to pin down. Geminis ask questions about everything. Pat answers are not for this sign. The air element works strongly to fuel the intellect of all air signs, but the mutable aspect of Gemini keeps the questions coming. This makes for a highly skilled debater. When a Gemini is backed by a high intelligence quotient, you'll see a razor sharp conversationalist that can jump skillfully from topic to topic. Chart-dominant Geminis make excellent lawyers.
