scarlett hansen
DOB + AGE:
may 29 1987 - 28
HOMETOWN & CURRENT RESIDENCE: hartford, ct & brooklyn, ny OCCUPATION: art connoisseur (dealer, management, representation) sexuality: "try-sexual" RELATIONSHIP STATUS: uninvolved, uninterested When Scarlett Hansen was born, it was under careful calculation and planning. There were no accidents with the Hansens, and she was budgeted for. Her parents, Roderick and Susan, were both carefully constructed business-minded folks (a lawyer and a literature professor) who detailed every minute of their life so there was no room for surprises, as the case had also been for their two previous children, Thomas and Elizabeth. The Hansens lived by strict guidelines to everyday life, keeping up with the neighbors and on scheduled timetables, so that when their youngest decided her career path was to be an artist, by the early age of 8, the gasps and horrors and mistakes she was making by her behavior and decisions were well-ingrained by the time she reached high school. • ENTJ - THE COMMANDER (myers-briggs) • identifying marks include tattoos of a daisy on the inside of her forearm, and a tiny heart an ex convinced her to let him tattoo on her back, her left nipple pierced and a scar running from wrist to elbow from when she caught her arm on a fence pool-hopping • has never had a pet • graduated from PRATT in 2008 with BA in art history and Tisch NYU with an MA in arts politics in 2010 • has a hefty trust fund she established herself with, but makes enough money to fully support herself • her entire family still resides in hartford, she hasn't been back in five years. • speaks fluent french, passable spanish and impeccable bitch • her original career path was to be an artist, but watercolors didn't prove to pay the bills
Growing up, Scarlett was shy, introverted, and even could be considered a space cadet. She was heavily involved in the art scene around Hartford, showing work and painting and creating at most avenues. Upon moving to New York, her personality shifted and thrived in the idea of the artists behind the art. With this change in focus, her personality also shifted into a whole new breed. Gone was the shy, quiet girl who prefered one-on-one interaction, and out blossomed the talkative, sharp-edged woman she became. |
